I'm Ashley Buning :)

 

Photography has always been a part of me. Growing up, I was constantly taking photos - of my family, our pets, even just the outdoors itself. I always dreamed of being a photographer, and once I became a mom, I felt that "push" to turn my dream into a reality.


Life is made up of moments and experiences. Being able to connect with people, hear their stories, and help turn those fleeting moments into lasting memories is what fuels my passion. My goal is for you to be able to re-live the most meaningful times of your life over and over again - and to feel them just as deeply too.


Whether your photos are hanging on your walls or you're curled up next to your spouse scrolling through them, I want them to bring you right back to that moment and stir up the same emotions you felt that day.  


Photography is more than just a hobby for me - it's a calling.

Get to Know Me

I am happily married to my husband of 3 years, and a proud mother to my two beautiful boys. It is chaotic and busy, but it is so amazing, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.


I love being outside. In the warmer months I spend my time out in the garden, on walks with my boys, or just sitting on my back porch with my family. I also LOVE to bake (I am a huge sweet-treat girlie ;) ).


  At the heart of everything I do is my faith. I believe that photography is more than just a job - it is a way to serve, love others, and reflect the beauty God has placed in our lives. Everything I do is rooted in gratitude and purpose, not for myself, but for Him.

My Approach

I approach each wedding and session intentionally.

I love a good balance of posed and candid moments. I love to guide you when you need it, but also love watching your story tell itself. I am not here to over-direct your day, or make it feel like a strict photoshoot. I want fun. I want laughter. I want love. Some of your favorite photos will be the ones you didn't pose for.


My editing style is true to life with a soft warmth. There is nothing better than opening a gallery full of photos that feel honest, timeless, and full of emotion.


Above all, your experience is my priority. I want to ensure you feel confident and relaxed, because that is what leads to the most meaningful images.
